I need some Drawing help!

I'd really like to improve my drawing skills for Anime, my Drawings don't have a lot of movement or look as good as I'd like them too. I need to figure out how to draw shadows and how to shade them properly, if anyone can show me some techniques they know I'd really appreciate it!
